This statement is made on behalf of Equiti Property Limited in accordance with Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (‘the Act’) for the current financial year and sets out the steps we take to ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our own business and our supply chains. This statement relates to actions and activities for the current financial year.
Equiti Property Limited is an independently owned estate agency business with only one branch office. We offer a comprehensive range of services to buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants and property investors to help with every stage of the transaction from start to completion. We assist in the areas of residential and commercial property sales and lettings, land and new homes marketing and sales, property management, financial services, surveying as well as block and estate management.
Our supply chains include: professional service companies, property professionals, contractors, utility providers, property developers, builders, property management companies and outplacement of certain routing administrative tasks to specialist providers.
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. It is our commitment to act ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.
Our approach to managing the risk of modern slavery forms part of our broader efforts to respect human rights. As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate any risk, we carry out appropriate due diligence within our business and when engaging and working with suppliers and business partners to identify and assess potential risk areas and to mitigate the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring.
We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. We expect all those in our supply chain and contractors to comply with our values.
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business, our supply chains and our business partners, we provide relevant training to members of staff.
